Synopsis

At Kathleen's prompting, the crew concludes that the Moonbase is due for a cleaning. However, James already has plans to marathon the late 90's/mid 2000's series The West Wing and is not willing to abandon them to help. More and more crew members venture to his house to fetch him, each time being convinced by James to watch "just one" episode and becoming too hooked on the show to not join his marathon.

Meanwhile, Paul discovers that an alarmingly specific spot in the Moonbase smells strongly of salami. With Cam's help, he constructs an isolation chamber to isolate and identify the source of the smell, believing that it may even be an experimental biological weapon. However, it turns out that the smell was merely an actual salami. When they toss it aside in frustration, Alex's hand emerges from a pile of costumes under which he has been stuck for the entire episode and claims it as his.

Trivia

  • The copy of James Joyce's Ulysses Graham is reading in the opening shot can be seen in multiple other LoadingReadyRun videos as a reference for when a character is attempting to become more intelligent.
  • In the scene where Graham and Cameron are shown tidying up the second floor, Cameron picks up a neatly folded shirt and begins refolding it; at the end of the scene, he puts it down in a messy, unfolded position. He can be seen with the shirt again over a minute later when Kathleen begins looking for James.
  • The whiteboard in this episode simply reads "Do over!", in contrast with the typically very busy and involved displays seen in other commodoreHUSTLE episodes.
